Bent Creek 10 mile trail run
A very challenging route that takes you up and down steep terrain to a peak elevation of about 2900 ft from a base at 2100 feet. Heavily wooded with occasional wildlife spotted including black bear, fox, wild turkey, and deer. An 8 to 9 min mile average pace is in my opinion a very strong pace for this course. Brown is lowest elevation and white is highest. Run starts at Hard Times Trail head and descends (brown color code). The Bent Creek trail is located in Pisgah Nat'l Forest in South Asheville NC.
